Singing Bhangra to the Fiddle

“Fusion doesn’t represent anything anymore because everything’s fusion”, says Tarun, the Tabla maestro who also does the electronics. Delhi to Dublin is a cultural gathering of the kilt wearing Korean sitarist, Irish fiddlers and Bhangra musicians beating the ‘dhol’. And together they’re a “Punjabi fusion, Celtic, electronic madness” making music in true global style.

We’re already grooving to their beats. Who’s next?

Out of the Blue

On a somewhat sunny January morning, we are happy to imagine that winter is almost over.

Check out some of our favourite blues

And our inspiration, Blue Winters

Winter uses all the blues there are.
One shade of blue for water, one for ice,
Another blue for shadows over snow.
The clear or cloudy sky uses blue twice-
Both different blues. And hills row after row
Are coloured blue according to how far.
You know the bluejay’s double-blur device
Shows best when there are no green leaves to show.
And Sirius is a winter blue green star.
